Jim Langkamp

Both entrepreneur and inventor, Jim runs several successful businesses in the Chicagoland area.

To counter his irresponsible nature as a teenager he put himself under strict religious rule and became a member of Fountain of Life Church.  27 years later, in 2004, Jim begins a personal journey in search of a higher spiritual calling, trashing years of “man-made” church rules in a quest to find spiritual freedom.

In 2005, Jim led a group of young men from his study group (the “Band of Brothers”) on an adventure in Alaska as a part of a collective pursuit of freedom.  This is where Deadhorse begins.
